Garlic Chicken Pasta Recipe

by Katie on June 7, 2012

The majority of our family’s favorite meals come from recipes that I’ve concocted from a variety of ingredients we have on hand or the result of an existing recipe that I’ve tweaked to our liking.  Our garlic chicken pasta is one such recipe.

While looking for dinner ideas one evening, I put together a number of ingredients that were a huge hit with our family.  I’ve since tweaked the recipe a bit, and come up with a new family favorite.

Garlic Chicken Pasta

3 grilled chicken breasts
16 oz. pasta
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.  While cooking, cut up grilled chicken.  Combine pasta, chicken, garlic, olive oil, cayenne pepper, parsley flakes, and mozzarella cheese.  Stir well and serve hot.

This is such an easy recipe, and it’s one our whole family loves.  I often use leftover chicken that we grilled the night before for this recipe, making it even easier.  Add a side salad and some fresh bread for an amazing dinner.  Bon appetit!

Ok…this looks/sounds awesome and like something my family will love as well. How about I just get hubby to give you our food budget money and we can come eat at your place all the time?! =0) Thanks for the recipe…I will be making this one.
