Groupon is featuring a $20 voucher to Pizza Tower for just $11 (for parties of 2 or more).  As an alternative, you can also purchase a $40 voucher for $21 (for parties of 4 or more).

If you’re unfamiliar with Pizza Tower, they offer more than 30 fresh ingredients for their pizzas.  Customers can choose from ordinary topping such as pepperoni and sausage as well as unusual toppings like pickles, tortillas strips, and sliced almonds.

These vouchers are valid through February 4th.

Just a reminder – the Weeki Wachee Mermaids will only be at the Newport Aquarium for 6 more days!

The Newport Aquarium announced the arrival of the Weeki Wachee Mermaids on Friday, October 10th.  Visitors to the aquarium will have the opportunity to view a real-life mermaid, clad in a colorful fish-tailed costume.  They will be swimming underwater from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.

The mermaids will dive in the aquarium’s 60,000-gallon Coral Reef Exhibit that features nearly 200 aquatic animals as well as more than 50 species of fish.  Visitors will also have the chance to meet and talk with a mermaid, and have their pictures taken in the Shark Ray Bay Theater as well (available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. each day).

For the most dedicated mermaid enthusiasts, the aquarium will feature a mermaid-themed Overnight Adventure as well as Breakfast with a Mermaid.  Tickets for these events are limited, and you can find additional details including how to purchase tickets on the Newport Aquarium’s website.

The mermaids will be traveling from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park in Tampa, Florida to the aquarium on Friday, October 10th, and will be visiting the aquarium through Sunday, October 19th.

The mermaid exhibit is free with admission to the Newport Aquarium.
