Hi,
I have been following you forever! I love the layout of your coupon matchups and you have helped me save so much money.

I have to ask though, what happened when you switched your website from blogger? I can’t see the whole post in my reader feed any more. I check it every day from there, and the new site takes forever to load on my computer. Is there anything I can do to see your whole posts in my reader? It would really be much easier for me.

Thanks again for all of your work, I really appreciate it!
Sarah

Hi Sarah -

I apologize for the technical issues with the new site. I am currently working with the designers of the site to improve these aspects, and make the site more user-friendly. It’s my hope that these issues will be ironed out within this next week, and everything will be running as it should. Thanks for your patience!

I enjoy your website and would like to get the updates emailed to me but I don’t see the link to do so.

Can you put me on your list?

You have made my life so much easier! I used to comb through all the weekly ads and coupons and figure this stuff out all by myself. Now I just look at your site and you have done all the work for me. You have saved me so much time and your information is always accurate. I love your site. Thanks for all your hard work.

Yesterday, my Kroger store informed me I could not use a coupon on reduced/manager’s special items. Has this happened to you? Anyway I wrote them about it and this is what I said-

During my visit to my local Kroger store yesterday (5/17/11), the cashier informed me that I could not use a manufacturer’s coupon on an item I was purchasing because the item had been discounted for quick sale.

The specifics of the situation is that I purchased 2 boxes of Stonyfield squeezable yogurt. These 2 boxes were discounted/manager’s special because they expire on 5/20/11. They were each marked $0.89 and I had one coupon for $0.50 off one box.

I think this policy is wrong since the manufacturer is to reimburse Kroger for coupon face amount no matter what price Kroger sells this item for. Kroger accepts coupons for sale items and even for closeout items, not just for full-price items. Accepting my coupon should not be dependent upon whether this item is marked for quick sale.

Thank you for your time,
Mrs. Bailey

I was given a recipe for an ice cream cake that required (specifically) ALDI’S ICE CREAM SANDWICHES, assuring me that they were the best! I have made a hit with many!
I stopped and found Belmont Premium Ice Cream, buying one with fewer fat calories(fat free please!). This just might be the best ice cream that I have had in a really, really long time! Thank you!!! Stay well and have a good day!

Hi Katie,
Hope all is well with you. I work at edible arrangements and our best deal is out again. These are only advertised on the website so only past customers really get the heads up. This is an at least $25.00 chocolate dipped fruit box
for $10.00. This is for pick up only & orders must be made before the 17th.I believe they can be picked up until the 20th if ordered by the 17th. We have had tons of orders so I thought I would pass this along to you again!

Hello Katie!

I’ve been following our blog for a while now and am always impressed. I’ve been wanting to start my own blog for mothers, with topics ranging from kids crafts to recepies, and from organization to adult crafts, while keeping things frugal, of course! I was hoping that you could give me a few pointers. If you have a few minutes, I’d love to get an email from you, and possibly pick your brain about some ideas.
Thank you so much!!

Hello-

I am writing to request that you please remove the “Free Red Bull” post from your website as this offer is no longer valid and is setting false expectations for consumers.

We appreciate your quick attention to this matter.

Best Wishes,

Eileen Flynn

Hi Katie ,
I am a long time reader of your blog. I have occasionally post comments and have emailed you one other time over the couple of years I have been a fan of your site. I have copied and attached to this email post I read on Southernsavers, another money saving blog.
This month in January it is free to sign up on be the match, a bone marrow donation site that saves lives. I thought it would be a great time for lots of people to join since it is free just this month and normally 100.00 to register. Thank you for all that you do on your site and keeping us posted on all the awesome deals!!
Thank You,
Tammy Aberman

As a former nurse for kids with pediatric cancer, I am excited to share that during the month of January you can join the National Marrow Donor Registry for FREE.
Normally it costs $100 to offset the lab costs, but right now the American Express Foundation is paying for anyone that registers during January!
I urge everyone to consider joining the registry. It takes 1 minute to get set up online, and then within a week you will get a kit in the mail. Your lab kit is very simple, just swab the inside of your check with a cotton swab that they send, and then mail it back (in a prepaid envelope).
I’ve been part of the registry now for the past 4 years. I’ve never had a call that I was needed, but I would love to help someday if I did match someone that needed it. As a donor you would spend an afternoon in the hospital, with an IV and nothing more than what you would do donating blood. You’ll be back to full steam the next day, and your body will completely recover and make new marrow within a few weeks.
There are so many patients just waiting to hear that a match is out there. Having actually set kids up and spent the day with them as these transplants happen, I long for every person to help.
I know some of you don’t want to, that’s cool. For everyone else that is even a bit interested, head over and read about the registry and how easy it is to help.

Hi Katie,

I just found out about a new company that is sending out coupons and specials via text messages and I want to know what you thought about it. You sign up to get message about things that are of interest to you and then they pay you 5 cents to receive the text messages. Seems to good to be true. See what you think – http://cashtexts.com/by/cashtext4u

I’m new to couponing but I love your site. I don’t know if I will ever make it to the extreme couponing show but I’m starting to get a little stock pile.

Thanks,

Patti

Hi Katie,

I am interested in doing a guest post for your site. If you have anything coming up that you need a filler for I’d be very interested and can write on anything you’d like. I generally like to write about frugality, holidays, or even a $10 dinner recipe (with pictures) and can be flexible on word count to whatever you’d wish.

Thanks, in advance!
