It’s that time of year again!  The Cincinnati Public Library is inviting kids and adults of all ages to join their summer reading program.

Starting on June 1st, you can stop into any library location to register and pick up your Adventure Kit.  The kit includes:

  • A Summer Adventure passport
  • A free book
  • A voucher for a free view level ticket to a Cincinnati Reds game
  • A Coney Island coupon

Once you have your Adventure Kit, you can read, explore, and create all summer long!  Simply record your reading and other activities in your passport and check in at the library each week for a chance to win great prizes.

When you check in at your local branch, you’ll get a prize, a stamp in your passport, and an entry into a drawing to win one of their weekly prizes. One weekly prize winner will be chosen at each location starting on June 12.

At the end of the summer, all weekly entries will be added to the Grand Prize Drawing for 4 tickets to Coney Island. Grand Prize winners will be chosen on August 1st.

Each week of the summer has a theme to help guide your summer adventure.  Events and weekly prizes will tie into these themes:

  • June 4th-10th – Science
  • June 11th-17th – Pop Culture
  • June 18th-24th – Around the World
  • June 25th-July 1st – Community
