Love the deals this week. Now, if I could come up with some creative ways to use all of the carrots if I stock up on them!

You’d think the $1 off Callender’s is a blanket/buy anything coupon, but it’s not.

Thanks for the heads up! I checked, and since the $1/1 coupon is only valid on dressing, dips, or glazes, it definitely does not apply to this offer. I’ve updated the post to reflect this information.

Exactly! There are only so many ways to use carrots before they go bad!

Last week Meijer lost my business. I will go there to get the freebie stuff or stuff that is the lowest I can get it for. But as far as the things I buy regardless like break, milk etc I won’t be. One of the cashiers called me one of those ‘coupon ladies who is trying to get free stuff.’ She said this to one of the managers who did nothing but look at me with distaste. It was 2 items. It was legal and within their coupon policy. It was not the only thing I was purchasing. So tired of responsible couponers getting the shaft due to the extreme couponers. Anywoot…thanks for the list. Looks like a couple items I’ll be getting.

I’m sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. It’s inexcusable for a cashier and a manager to act rudely towards a customer who is using coupons in an honest and ethical manner.

I think it’s a shame that a “reality” series can make it so very difficult for honest couponers to go into a store and use coupons without being looked at suspiciously. The vast majority of people who use coupons are not shelf clearers or hoarders. They are simply trying to save money in a very tough economy.

Thanks Katie. That’s the way I feel.
