I really like finding games that fit the niche of tweens and younger teenage kids. There are so many games on the market for little kids and adults, that it’s sometimes hard to find something suitable for that in-between age.
Oddly Obvious is a fun party game where players race to spot the correct answers. In each round, one player reads the questions while the other players frantically look at the front of the card to find the correct answer for each question.
The easy part of this game is the fact that the answers are all on the front of the card…sounds easy, right? Nope! You have to quickly wade through the words on the card to find the one that’s just right….and you have to do it before your competitors!
Before each card is read, 5 tokens are spread out on the table. As a player answers a question correctly, they receive a token. The player with the most tokens at the end of the card wins that card. Once a player has won five cards, they’ve won the game!
This game is designed for players ages 12 and up, and it includes 147 double-sided game cards, 5 tokens, a card stand, and instructions.
